Friday the 13th. You can hear that spooky music in your head now. Jason is one of the scariest Halloween psychos around. Not only Friday the 13th but also on Friday the 13th. There are several Friday the 13th movies out there to see — and all of them are excellent. This is an ideal movie to see. There are three Scream movies, all equally funny and scary. We all remember that Scream mask and those scary telephone calls the psycho would make. This is the perfect movie to see on Halloween night (just don’t answer the phone!). We can easily see you watching all three of these!

The Exorcist is a very scary movie, considered one of the most frightening movies out there. Many grown adults have never seen this movie, considering the idea of demonic possession to be something they simply don’t want to consider further. If you dare….this could be a great Halloween movie to add to your movie marathon. Just try to have someone around to hold your hand or to scream with! You could even eat pea soup together as you watch this movie (it is rumored that the vomiting scenes were done with pea soup).

Now there are several Dracula movies out there. You can see the original Dracula movie from 1931 or you can see the recent Dracula movie from 1992. For any “Drac” fans, this is an option you simply can’t pass up. Hitchcock films. Many people consider Hitchcock films to be very spooky indeed. Dial M for Murder is an excellent Hitchcock film and there are a number of others, including Rear Window. These movies are so scary not because of what you see – but rather because of what you don’t see. Your own imagination winds up going out of control because of what is suggested and it is a terrific ride.

Scary Halloween Costumes

Saturday, April 17th, 2010

These days people will dress up as pretty much anything for Halloween. However, some people like to stick to the scary Halloween costumes that the holiday is known for. There are a lot of different options available if you are one of these people. The simplest way to get scary Halloween costumes is to buy them. You can buy costumes based on characters from horror movies or you can go with more traditional choices like ghosts, witches, zombies, and Frankenstein. Most websites and stores that sell Halloween costumes will have a selection of these types to choose from.

However, if you want to get really scary Halloween costumes that will have a better chance of scaring people other than just really little kids, you might be better off letting your creativity run wild and creating the costume yourself. People are more used to seeing the costumes sold in the stores, and aren’t as likely to be scared of them. Something different is more likely to be a bit more of a shock. You can get wigs, makeup, and old clothes to use as the basis of your costume, and there are a number of different websites that can help you to figure out how to put everything together.

To make the most of your scary Halloween costumes, you won’t want to just walk around in plain sight. You will want to hide and jump out at people so you startle them, since they will be more likely to be scared, at least for a few seconds, in this type of situation. The absolute best use for truly scary Halloween costumes has to be helping out at one of the many haunted houses that are set up for Halloween. People expect scary things to jump out at them, and won’t be mad if you jump out and shout boo. It is a lot of fun to see people’s reactions as well to the various tricks of the trade that are used in haunted houses. Maybe you could even set up one of your own for the trick or treaters or people who come to a Halloween party at your house.
